Elizabeth Anka Vagajic is a singer and guitarist from Montreal who writes dark folk/blues music. This is her excellent debut album released by the great independent label Constellation Records, the label of some of the greatest post-rock bands in the world (GYBE, Silver Mt. For first time listeners:
not exactly what you're expecting comparing to the sound of G!YBE and A Silver Mt. Zion... To me, resembles the most to some of Jarboe solo works.
Still, I wouldn't say that it's a bad album, just... too gloomy for my taste.
