Saltillo is a solo project by Menton J. Matthews III, also of Sunday Munich. Matthews is an amazing artist, a multi-instrumentalist who plays cello, viola, violin, guitar, drums, piano, and bass, as well as a slew of electronics. He has spent the last few years refining his song-writing abilities by scoring film soundtracks and doing production work at the mixing desk. Ganglion is his debut, released in 2006. Heya, thank you for all the nice new bands and the Silver Mt. Zion post. I especially enjoyed Chris Eckman. His voice reminded me of this album that I never seem to depart with, Rob Dougan - Furious Angels (and perhaps the instrumental cd is in the rar).
He's the man behind the Matrix theme, Clubbed to Death.
